Farmers Market Information
About Us: The Saberon family has been growing produce in Star Valley for 4 years. Although our farm has had much success supplying fresh produce to area restaurants, grocery stores, and to our community supported agriculture (CSA) members, selling our produce at the Jackson Hole Farmer’s Market has been one of our greatest successes. With four years of farmers' markets behind us, we are truly proud that we are able to build community through a local food network. We look forward to seeing those who have supported us over the years again in 2007.
What Do We Provide? Whether you support our farm through CSA membership, the farmer’s market, a specialty grocer, or gourmet restaurant, you receive our personal commitment to provide you with a season’s worth of chemical free, naturally grown, nutritious produce that is beyond organic. We have chosen not to participate in the government’s organic certification program for ethical reasons; instead, we offer our personal pledge to practice farming methods we regard as beyond organic.
When Is Our Produce Available? If tradition holds, the Jackson Hole Farmer’s Market will be held from approximately July 10th through September 10th.
Why Should You Purchase From us at The Farmers' Market? For most of us our taste buds can answer this one, but there are other important reasons to food from us. Locally grown food tastes better, is healthier for you, better for the planet, and better for our communities. For many families, it is more satisfying to receive produce from a local grower than purchase food from a supermarket that is weeks old and has been transported hundreds if not thousands of miles to the store from where it is to be purchased. We encourage and welcome our customers see where and how their food is grown. You are welcome to take a tour at any time. Just call us and let us know when you plan to visit.
