It's been a good year for garlic. Now it's time to sell it all.
This is what we have available:
German Extra Hardy - Grade A - has a full-bodied flavor, large bulbs and individual cloves, excellent for roasting, "brings on the heat"
German Extra Hardy - Grade B - same great taste, but considerably smaller sized bulbs
Polish Jenn - Grade A - also has a great true garlic flavor but with less "kick", big bulbs and individual cloves
Polish Jenn - Grade B - same great taste, but the bulbs are much smaller in size
Spanish Roja - Grade B - Smaller sized bulbs and cloves. A gourmet heirloom variety; rich, strong, lasting flavor; easy to peel, garlic with "zing". (Sorry, no grade A available, we are planting all the big bulbs to improve our future yields.)
Prices vary depending on how and where you buy it. Garlic can be purchased at Familee Thriftway in Afton, Valley Market in Thayne, and Alpine Market in Alpine, WY. We also bring it with us to sell at the Jackson Hole Farmers Market, on Saturdays through Sept. 13th. Or, for the best cost, you can make purchases directly from us here on the farm. Shipping is available, but at your own expense.
