This year we are excited to announce our expansion into the gourmet garlic market. After several years of building our stock, we now are able to offer two incredible varieties of heirloom garlic: German Extra Hardy and Polish Jenn.
What do You Get? Whether you support our farm through CSA membership, the farmer’s market, a specialty grocer, gourmet restaurant, or garlic order, you receive our personal commitment to provide chemical free, naturally grown, nutritious produce that is beyond organic. This year we offer two heirloom-continental-hardneck varieties and one variety of softneck garlic that has been in my wife's family for over fifty years. The hardnecks are truly the largest most tasty gourmet garlics available, while our softneck strain has outstanding storage qualities.
When is Our Garlic Available? Our Garlic is usually available near the first of August. We are still expanding our garlic market so supplies are limited. Orders will be filled on a “first come, first serve” basis.
Why do you Want to Buy Our Garlic? For most of us our taste buds can answer this one, but there are other important reasons to join a community farm. Locally grown food tastes better, is healthier for you, better for the planet, and better for our communities. For many consumers, it is more satisfying to purchase food from us than from a supermarket whose produce is weeks if not months old.
